In my role as VP of innovation of the Profiles division I head an international team called QuestionArts specialising in research consultancy services advising on the design of and copy writing of surveys and the development of specialist tools & technology for conducting research in the online and mobile arena. I also oversee an extensive program of research on research activity exploring new ways of conducting research. Areas of specialisation include: Design, development and optimisation of surveys: Trackers, U&A surveys, NPD surveys, ad testing, broadcast evaluation, youth research, business to business and co-creation surveys. Devising and developing short efficient & engaging surveys that work effectively across different platforms and devices Survey gamification: Which I would rather term, the copy writing and art directing of surveys I am interested in all aspects of the creative process of designing surveys to engage consumers Prediction science: I take a specialist interesting research prediction methodologies Data visualization: The science of visual design. Over the last 15 years I have been involved in conducting extensive research research on research investigating techniques to improve respondent engagement on online research with the aim of increasing the quality of data and completion rates from online surveys, publishing a range of papers on this topic. More recently I have been focusing on rethinking personality and cognitive thinking measurement techniques for commercial market research.
